Monica is excited because she saved her allowance to take her mother out for Mother's Day.  Monica is deeply disappointed and sad when her mother breaks the news that she is going away Mother's Day weekend.

Monologue:   A counseling session with Sarah provokes deep thought and revelations that surface during the Pandemic .   

This monologue is about a mother confronting her daughter who is in denial about her excessive drinking.  While confronting her daughter, she  shares the pain of her past living with an alcoholic husband, and the faith it took to believe that God would bring about a change.

   

A message left for a customer encourages the waitress of God's love. 

A sad, lonely woman reflects on her life as she sits in a wheelchair at the nursing home.
