The Anxiety Project Podcast is your go-to resource for overcoming anxiety, hypochondria (health anxiety), trauma, and agoraphobia, naturally. During my childhood and into my twenties, I struggled with an anxiety disorder that completely held me back from living a fulfilling life. After many years of this struggle, eventually reaching rock bottom with agoraphobia, I finally had enough and decided to create a whole new identity for myself. I studied Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, NLP, found a coach, rid myself of bad habits, released repressed emotional memories, and pursued through incredible resistance in order to reach my higher self.
Now, as a Cognitive Behaviorist and NLP Master Practitioner, I aim to offer honest content that provides informative and relatable information about the many areas of anxiety. My mission is to provide a structured step by step approach to overcoming anxiety and sensitization naturally (through CBT and NLP practices) and build an honest and trustworthy rapport with those who seek help for their life challenges.

TAPP #97 - Recovery: Step 5 | Positive Role Models
On episode #97 of The Anxiety Project Podcast, I talk about step 5 of the recovery journey: have a positive role model. This step is about subjecting yourself continuously to the person you are looking up to. Your potential lies within their knowledge because they went though the same thing as you and has gotten better. The more you are around that person (does not have to be physically), the more you mirror and become like them.
TAPP #96 - Recovery: Step 4 | Create New Habits
On this episode, I talk about step 4 of the anxiety recovery process: create new habits. I go over the unconscious mind, 95% that makes up who we are, and how we can work with it to create new habits that will change our identity. I then discuss goals and the resistance that comes with reaching those goals and what you need to do to push through that resistance.
TAPP #95 - Recovery: Step 3 | Setting an Aim
On this episode, I talk about step number 3 in the recovery process: determine your goals and obstacles. Set an aim. You will stumble forward toward that aim and feel like a fool while doing it, but at least you are further down the path than you were yesterday. You must become the fool in order to become the master. I go over the importance of goal setting and why you need to pursue through that resistance in order to overcome anxiety on this podcast episode.
TAPP #94 - Recovery: Step 2 | Become Knowledgeable
On this podcast episode, I go over the second step in the recovery process: Becoming Knowledgeable. Find others who have gone through the same thing your going through and have gotten better. Begin the learning process. Start from square one. Absorb their information because it will put you in formation towards your higher self.
TAPP #93 - Recovery: Step 1 | Take Responsibility
On episode #93 of The Anxiety Project Podcast, I go over the first step to overcoming severe anxiety: Taking Responsibility. I reference Russell Brand's book Recovery and the beginning step in the 12 steps to overcoming addictions. There are many underlying addictions (negative habits) that have been leading the anxiety sufferer down a bad path. So, taking responsibility for the chaos you are in is a massive step towards recovery.
TAPP #92 - Go With the Flow? Really?
On episode #92, I talk about certain sayings such as: go with the flow, YOLO and how these beliefs only keep you stagnant in your anxious identity. I go over my old lifestyle through college, then the many years after, and what I was doing unconsciously that led me towards a severe anxiety disorder. Are there any other sayings I missed? Please leave a comment!
