I really enjoyed listening to this podcast because it touched on many aspects of running a professional practice that I have been struggling with. One of the things that really spoke to me was the idea of moving away from the time-for-money model, and the idea that your clients don’t need fixing. Her observation about looking at the skills you already have to help you grow your business, and to take advantage of the environment you’re already in, if it is adequate to your goals, were inspirational as well. I also liked what she said about getting your clients to take you seriously professionally by taking care of the details of your professional presentation, and putting your ‘systems' in place. All in all, a very good listen and a push in the right direction if you’re looking for some help.
