You've probably never heard about The Harlem Hellfighters. They were the only African-American regiment in World War I and became known as some of the most formidable soldiers fighting for the Allied forces. But guess what? The US government wasn't a big fan and despite their heroism, the Hellfighters were treated like garbage. Ato and Chris share the 369th Infantry Regiment's story and discuss its relevance today. Also, they talk about Ed Harris. Because...well, Ed F*ckin' Harris.

This half of the episode continues the conversation about cult-like thinking, the blindspot of privilege, and being a fan in a world full of flawed creators.

There's a gross double standard when it comes to black and white protesters. Ato and Chris break down the January 6th assault on the Capitol, and law enforcement's (lack of) reaction to it. And how do cults and groups like Qanon rope people in and then keep them around?

When police raided the home of Anjanette Young two years ago, they were at the wrong house. The body cam footage was only released a few weeks ago and has understandably brought police tactics back into the spotlight. Ato and Chris discuss the situation, the Georgia run-off election, and wrap up 2020.

In this episode...We get into what exactly "defund the police" means. Also, we talk about the Breonna Taylor case; the Supreme Court ruling that led to the current anger over police violence; and why public bathrooms bring out the worst in humanity.
