No Such Thing As Ghosts may be new on the scene, but some of the members have a fairly long and prolific history in the 518. The "final form" of the group just came together a few months ago, but they are already making a name for themselves, having won "Favorite Alt/Indie" act at the 2024 Listen Up awards. I had such a great time hanging out with this band and I really think you will dig them, as well. Sons of Eden are a relatively new band that formed at Sienna college, but they have the sound, the determination and the songwriting chops to take the band far beyond their former campus halls. Influenced by the grunge sound of the early 90s, Sons of Eden's songs certainly flex that influence while adding their own flair to the mix. While they don't have anything released as of this episode, their first single is recorded and in the mixing phase, so it should be along shortly. They also went directly to a video shoot after leaving the Dazzle Den, so an accompanying video won't be far behind. I had never met Jay Mullen before, but am good friends with his older brother, James (Seize Atlantis, James Mullen and the Strangers), so it was high-time that I had Jay on the show as he is really starting to make a name for himself in the 518 and beyond.
