As part of their coursework in the module Broadcasting Technology on BSc (Hons) Entertainment Systems, students at WIT create some radio programmes as a final assignment. Typically, these are broadcast on Beat 102-103, thanks to our long-standing partnership withe South East's largest youth station.
Every year, the students have made something different: documentaries, a nativity play, music gigs, comedy - it's largely driven by their own interests.
This podcast collects these programmes.

In the final part of Shakespeare Rhyme & Reason, we look at how the actor's delivery of lines can affect our experience of Shakespeare's text, using Romeo & Juliet and Othello as examples. Then we look at Iago's story, from the perspective of a few drama students getting ready for an audition.

In this episode of Shakespeare Rhyme & Reason, we delve into the character of Othello, look at his strengths and flaws and see how his relationship with Iago drives the plot of the play. We also draw some comparisons between Othello and modern comic book characters, most notably Cyclops from the X-Men and Batman's Harvey Dent.
