Your Dead Loved Ones Still Exist (Science Finally Proved It)

Let's get this out of the way: we’re not here to play with your emotions. If you clicked because you’ve lost someone, we know what this topic carries. And if you clicked because you don’t trust the title, good. A claim this personal should never be accepted at face value. To be as clear as possible: this episode is not built on religion. Not Christianity, Islam, Hinduism or Buddhis,. Not any holy book. And it’s not built on sensational claims or stories you simply have to “believe.” Rather, we examine seven independent fields of study that collectively span 155 years of research. Inside each field are serious scientists, clinicians, and thinkers. Some researchers have connected the dots that we lay out. But to our knowledge, no one has stepped back and laid it out in one straight line. That’s what this episode attempts to do. And at the end, we’ll talk about what it means. Because if these fields are pointing where they appear to be pointing, the implications are substantial. Not just for what happens after death, but for grief, love, consciousness, and the possibility that the people we’ve lost may not be as gone as we were taught to believe. A.I. Futurist: What Your Life Looks Like In 2028

After a full year of being told AI was going to wipe out jobs, the collapse hasn’t happened. At least not yet. Unemployment hasn’t spiked. Most people still have their roles. On the surface, the economy looks familiar. And that creates a strange tension. You’ve heard the warnings. You’ve felt the fear. But now you may be wondering if this is just another cycle of exaggerated tech panic. Maybe AI is like email or social media. Disruptive, yes. But not something that will replace you entirely. Most people are sitting in that uncertainty right now. Waiting. Watching. Trying to figure out what’s real. But history has a way of hiding the earliest cracks. Before the 2008 financial crisis, unemployment numbers didn’t collapse first. The warning signs showed up in places most people weren’t looking. So the real question isn’t whether AI has replaced jobs yet. It’s whether we’re watching the right indicators. Is this stability real? Or is this the calm before the storm? That’s why we sat down with Sinéad Bovell, one of the leading futurists working at the intersection of technology and society. She has spoken at the United Nations, been in rooms with the people building these systems, and hosts a global AI series with Microsoft. What makes her rare is that she doesn’t just understand the tools. She understands the social, economic, and human shifts they create. And she has built a career helping people see inflection points before the rest of the world fully feels them. If we’re misreading this moment, Sinéad is the person who can show us where the cracks actually are. This conversation takes you behind the scenes of what’s coming, what most people are missing, and the practical insights you’ll need to navigate this year and the age ahead. Why Hospitality Is the Way Out of a World That Uses People

Think about the last time you felt invisible. Maybe it was at work. Or in a social setting. Or while you were doing something for someone who barely noticed you were there. For a lot of people, life starts to feel transactional. You’re treated well when you’re useful. Acknowledged when you’re needed. And quietly overlooked when you’re not. Maybe you’ve had the realization that many of your relationships feel like this — where being seen is conditional, and being ignored is the default. What if this isn’t just bad manners or people having a rough day? What if we’re living inside an unspoken hierarchy — where people are valued based on their role, their status, and what they’re there to do for us? Not a caste system written into law or religion, but one enforced through everyday behavior. Who gets celebrated. Who gets eye contact. Who gets respect. Nowhere is this more visible than in the service industry, where entire groups of people are treated as interchangeable, easy to ignore, and even easier to dehumanize. That’s why we sat down with Steve Fortunato. A pioneer in the hospitality world, Steve has spent years watching how people treat one another when power, money, and stress collide. He’s seen what this kind of invisibility does to individuals — and what it does to a culture that slowly learns to accept it as normal. At our best, we’re most alive when we live beyond ourselves. Spiritual traditions have said this for centuries, and science now backs it up. In this episode, Steve helps us see how unspoken hierarchies block that way of living — how they show up in our work, our relationships, and our institutions. But he doesn’t just name the problem. He shows us how it works. And then, he shows us a way out — one that restores dignity, presence, and freedom for both ourselves and the people around us. Yale Emotions Scientist: Why Your Emotions Decide Everything

You think you’re in control of your life. But most of the time, your emotions are making the decisions for you. You snap and immediately regret it. You shut down even though you wanted to say more. You feel overwhelmed, defensive, or numb — and don’t fully understand why. All throughout the day, you have moments where a feeling takes over before you can even think. And over time, those moments add up. The way you respond to frustration, fear, shame, or anger doesn’t just affect how you feel in the moment — it quietly shapes your relationships, your work, your health, and the direction your life takes. Without the tools to regulate what’s happening inside you, you become a passenger in your own life. Living with regret instead of intention. That’s why we sat down with Dr. Marc Brackett — the world’s leading expert on emotional intelligence. He’s the founding director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence and one of the most cited emotion researchers alive. In this episode, you’ll discover how to get back in the driver’s seat of your life. If you want to feel more in control of your reactions, more grounded in your decisions, and more aligned with the life you’re trying to live, this conversation is for you. How Modern Politics Brainwash People (Scientifically)

In the entire existence of our company, we've never made a public statement about politics. Not because it wasn't relevant to what we do. We are a company focused on wellbeing — mentally, physically, and spiritually. And the way we engage with politics has a profound impact on all three. It shapes whether people live in fear or in hope. Whether they relate to each other through love or through hate. Whether society feels connected or like it's turning into tribal warfare. But our thinking has never mapped cleanly onto a single political framework. We've consistently found ourselves agreeing with certain things and strongly disagreeing with others — across both sides. And over time, the more tribal things became, the more alienated we felt from it. Until we started to wonder whether that was by design. So we started looking into it. And what we found changed how we see everything. Because the more we dug in, the more we realized that a lot of what we're seeing in modern politics follows very specific psychological patterns. Patterns that look surprisingly similar to the dynamics researchers use to describe high-control groups and cults. That's not a metaphor or an exaggeration. The people who study cults and the people who study politics are now citing each other's work. Because independently — across decades of research, across cultures, across countries — they've arrived at the same mechanisms. And those mechanisms are operating on all of us. Right now. Not just in the United States. You can see versions of this in France, the UK, Brazil, India. The specific issues change. The underlying playbook doesn't. This episode is what we found. A research-backed breakdown of the four phases of political brainwash, the seven psychological tactics being used at scale across every major democracy, and the nine signs that you've already been affected — whether you know it or not. This is not about telling you what to think. It's about showing you how thinking itself is being shaped. And once you see it, you won't be able to unsee it. Cancer Doctors: The New Science That Can Reverse Cancer

Everyone knows someone who has been touched by cancer — a parent, a friend, a colleague. Maybe it's even you. And for most of us, the story we've inherited about cancer is this: it's an older person's disease, something that happens to people who didn't take care of themselves, something that — if you do the right things — you can largely avoid. But that story is fracturing. In November 2024, James Van Der Beek announced that he had been privately battling stage III colorectal cancer. He was forty-six when he was diagnosed. He'd been eating organic, doing cold plunges, exercising — and had no idea anything was wrong until a change in his bowel habits made him finally ask for a colonoscopy. He fought for over two years. In December 2025, he appeared on the Today show and said he felt good. Six weeks later, he was gone. And his story is not the exception. Chadwick Boseman passed away at forty-three. Kate Middleton was diagnosed at forty-two. Just a couple of months ago, Tatiana Schlossberg — JFK's granddaughter — died at thirty-five. The numbers behind these stories are staggering. From 1990 to 2019, early-onset cancer rates rose nearly eighty percent globally. One in two people will receive a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime. This isn't a distant threat — it's the most personal health reality of our time. So what is actually happening? How much of this is lifestyle, and how much is just bad luck? In this episode, we go all the way into it with two of the most respected doctors you'll find anywhere on this topic. Dr. William Li is one of the world's leading cancer researchers. He helped develop over forty treatments that are actively changing outcomes for patients right now. He has also watched someone he loves face a stage IV diagnosis and be told by her doctor there was nothing left to do. He didn't accept that. She is alive today because of it. Dr. Dawn Mussallem spent over two decades as an integrative oncologist at Mayo Clinic. She has sat with hundreds of people at every stage of this disease. She has also been one of them. In her mid-twenties, three months into medical school, she was diagnosed with stage IV cancer and given months to live. That was twenty-five years ago, and she is still here, healed. If there are two people on earth who can tell you what you actually need to know about cancer, it's the two people in this conversation. Louise Perry: Why Casual Sex Backfires On Women

We're living in the era of sexual freedom or at least, that's the story we were told. Have sex whenever you want, with whoever you want, as much as you want. As long as there's consent, you're fine. That became the new moral baseline, and many of us embraced it. We swiped, experimented and called it empowerment. But privately, the results haven't always matched the promise. If you're a woman, you may have felt that tension most clearly. Moments that were technically consensual, but left you wondering why something still felt off. Because consent was supposed to solve everything — but consent only answers one question: "Was this allowed legally?" It doesn't ask: "Was this wise? Was this safe? Was this actually good for me?" So here's the uncomfortable possibility: what if the framework we were given was incomplete? What if freedom, without a deeper ethic, leaves people navigating something far more complicated than we expected? If there's anyone who stepped into that tension early, it's Louise Perry. She was one of the first feminists to publicly ask whether the sexual revolution had actually made women happier — not from outside the movement, but from within it. Her book, The Case Against the Sexual Revolution, didn't just get attention. It became one of the most talked-about texts of the decade, igniting international debate and forcing a serious reconsideration of what "sexual liberation" actually means. Because it said something many women were already thinking — but weren't sure they were allowed to say out loud. Nothing is off-limits. We talk about orgasms, hookup culture, and the environments we've normalized, as well as the ones we left behind. Some of what she says may shock you. Some of it may convict you. But if we're serious about living well, this conversation is unavoidable. Terry Crews: What’s Actually Going Wrong With Men

Masculinity has become radioactive. It’s one of the most polarizing forces in modern culture. Families fracture over it, politics feeds on it and entire online ecosystems monetize it. And no one seems to agree on what it is anymore. If you’re a woman, you may feel fatigue from patterns that don’t seem to change. And if you’re a man, you may feel disoriented. Pulled between two extremes. Told you’re dangerous if you’re strong. Told you’re weak if you’re sensitive. Unsure whether to soften or harden. For a moment, the phrase “toxic masculinity” felt like progress. It named real harm. But critique without construction creates a vacuum — and vacuums don’t stay empty. When masculinity was dismantled without being rebuilt, something predictable happened. The pendulum swung back. The loudest voices reclaimed the conversation — charismatic, certain, and unapologetic. Offering simple frameworks for a complicated world. And men of every age have been drawn in. Not because they’re villains, but because they’re searching for something solid. So the question isn’t whether masculinity is broken. It’s whether we can define it — and live it — in a way that strengthens men, honors women, and becomes a healing force in the world. That’s why we sat down with Terry Crews. For more than two decades, he’s been one of the most recognizable figures in Hollywood. The star of major action franchises like The Expendables. A physique synonymous with strength. By every cultural measure, he is the prototype of the strong man. But what makes Terry different is that he didn’t just perform masculinity. He lived its extremes. The rage, the control and the caricature of toughness. And then — he dismantled it. Over the last decade, he’s been confronting what masculinity actually is. Because if masculinity is going to be rebuilt, it won’t be rebuilt in theory. It will be rebuilt by men who have embodied it — and are willing to offer a better story. The cameras have followed Terry Crews for years. This conversation is about what happened when the cameras were off.
