Cannes Film Fest (so much clapping!) and Erwann Kerroc'h (welcome to the podcast)
In this episode of CTR Erwann Kerroc’h joins Piotr and Ricky on the podcast! He is welcomed with open arms and they discuss a few projects Erwann is working on and the CNC. Piotr wants to know what the Cannes film festival means to someone from France…and from America and how every movie played gets a minutes long standing ovation. Ricky brings up the crazy drama behind the scenes of the move Chinatown, wading the episode out into the dark deep end discussing actors and directors behaving (very) badly. The conversation then wanders into thoughts on reality TV and how Ricky surrounded the Real-World house in Chicago along with a 100 other punk kids. Piotr and Ricky recount last weekends 10K and disc golf tournament and they all discuss their watch lists from the week: Ricky - Fallout (tv), Erwann - Punch Drunk Love & Boy Kills World, Piotr - Molly’s Game. There’s probably more things mentioned in the episode but you’ll have to listen to find out!

Outreach (let you fingers do the walking) and The New Look (whattchyu know about Dior?!)
In this episode, Ricky and Piotr have a good conversation on the exciting world of outreach emails! And by these they mean reaching out to professionals you admire, who had a similar career trajectory as yours for advice/ guidance. Ricky mentions why it's not a easy and Piotr tells his own tale of successful outreach. Also, they talk about the short films "Clock" and "Appendage," short films that were turned into features. Plus Ricky gushes about "The New Look," a limited AppleTV series from the mind of Todd A. Kessler, about the rise of fashion designer Christian Dior & fall of Coco Chanel during and after WW2.

Polish Films (a list)
This week Piotr confesses that he hasn't seen as many Polish films as American films. So he's created a list of films from his home or by Polish directors that he has seen and recommends. Ricky reads all the synopsis; they discuss how the films influence Piotr as a film maker and how cultural differences might pass over viewers heads.
Here is the list of films we discussed in no particular order. Add them to your list and let us know what you think.
