Many of the people who are celebrating Christmas are putting a lot of pressure on the holiday to 'fix' 2020 and make it better. But will our typical understanding of Christmas actually do anything to help bring us out of this dark year? In this episode, Fiona and her guests use Christmas carols as a means to discuss how this Christmas is in many ways reflective of the first Christmas, and how Christmas is also a time to reaffirm our commitment to building a more just world.

Every Spring Semester Campus Ministry hosts an event called "Stories of Solidarity" where Le Moyne Students talk about their experiences on their service immersion trips over the Winter and Spring. Of course we can't all meet in person for this event-- so we're bringing it to you in podcast form! On today's episode five Le Moyne students who spent time in New Mexico, Jamaica, and El Salvador talk about what it means to live a life of solidarity and how they see themselves as men and women for others. They join Fiona to talk about intersectionality and the importance of being a just global citizen.
