So, what do we do about that? We speak to Brent and Daniel from Campus Planning. They're working on the Student Housing Study, a project of George Brown College that was started this spring and is working to understand, inform, and identify solutions for student housing. S7E14: When Life Gives You Lemons, Make Them More Sustainable!
On April 9th, something memorable and exciting took place: the launch of Citronino vodka, a product with a compelling backstory. This vodka isn't just any spirit; it's the culmination of an innovative project from students and staff in the Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts, aimed at recycling waste from classrooms and transforming it into a valuable distillate. Tune-in to learn how upwards of 400 students, a local distillery and a group of dedicate staff worked together to save waste and create a delicious and sustainable new product.
