Our experiences play a role in shaping us as individuals. Many people probably went through the phase where their parents compared them with other children with the record-breaking question of “The person who came first; does she have two heads?” And the pressure to perform or appear perfect has increased since then.  

It’s all fun and jokes till we realize that this mindset has followed us into our walk with Christ. We find out that we are less conscious of the life we have received in Christ Jesus and more conscious of our weaknesses and how we can fix them by our own strength.   

Someone would argue that Matthew 5:48 says “be perfect as your Heavenly Father is perfect” so why are we laying aside perfectionism? But in this episode, the Lord opened up to us the difference between a perfectionist and one who is being perfected in the Lord.  We hope this episode blesses you !
