In today’s episode we talk with Mixael from the Four Thieves Vinegar Collective about fighting against the medical-industrial complex by creating your own DIY medicine. In the first part we discuss US patent law that permits for-profit pharmaceutical companies to put huge precise-tags on life-saving medicines, like insulin and hepatitis C treatment. Millions of people die yearly as a consequence. We then learn about the tools developed by Four Thieves that help anyone with a very basic knowledge of chemistry produce these medications with a fraction of the cost.
