Catholic mom, Catholic women, and ALL friends seeking God- WELCOME! This is a podcast designed to provide my fellow sisters in Christ with encouragement and support for the beautiful and difficult journey of living out our vocations. Truth is that motherhood, marriage, and living out our feminine genius are incredibly hard endeavors. Yet, through the perseverance of pursuing all that is good, true, and beautiful we are tenderly being transformed into vessels of God's love, one tiny dish, meeting, or dirty diaper at a time. So, join me, Suzanne - homeschooling momma of 6, every week as we journey together with a Mary & Martha mission towards "stilling our souls WHILE moving our world." Together, let's sit at the feet of Christ like Mary, while moving with the gusto and strength of Martha! Join me and my friends as we laugh, cry, dive deep, and explore with one another as navigate wifehood, motherhood, and sisterhood with our eyes on Christ.

169. Mothers & Daughters - with Madelyn Bilodeau
"No greater joy can I have than this, to hear that my children follow the truth." 3 John 1:4.This week I am so delighted to have my first-born child, my little monkey, Madelyn Rose on the podcast with me. We chat about many things related to mother and daughter relationships and discuss the amazing retreat we recently went on together. We traveled to Virginia to attend a Mother & Daughter retreat hosted by Walking With Purpose (called Sisters of Strength) this spring and it was a beautifu...

168. To Be Seen - EL ROI
"You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.” Genesis 16:13.This week I talk about the need to be seen. Do we believe that God sees us, sees our heart aches, our sorrows, our joys, and our desires? Do we live that out for our children? Being physically with our children is not the same thing as "seeing" them. This is an invitation to be intentional about ensuring that the people we love know that they are seen by us. If this episode blessed you...

167. Let Yourself Be Loved
"How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!" 1 John 3:1This week I discuss the healing power of letting ourselves be loved. We often focus so much on our inadequacies, our shortcomings, or ways in which we fail to live up to the calling of our vocation, that we forget how deeply and passionately we are loved by the King of the Universe. If this episode blessed you, I would be so honored if you shared it with a friend, rated it, or left ...

166. Eliminate the Grumbling
"Do all things without grumbling or questioning …” (Phil 2:14).How often do we serve our children, our spouses, our friends, with a hidden (or not-so-hidden) grumbling inside? Do we complain as we go about our tasks of the day, or do we surrender the present moment to the will of God? This my friends is a place I continuously come back to in prayer, a place I frequently find myself falling, and a place I am continuously met with God's mercy and compassion. This week I discuss the invitat...

165. Never say “Should”
“It is not what goes into the mouth defiles a man, but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man" ~ Matthew 15:11.This week I discuss the dangerous word “should”. We often throw around words without taking the time to reflect on the impact of their implications. This is an invitation to join me as I move to strip both my vocabulary and my heart from words that often invoke the sentiments of shame, judgment, and envy. If this episode blessed you, I would be so honored if you s...

164. Time to CLEAN House
" Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me." (Psalm 51:10). Okay my lovely friends, it is time to clean house! No, I do not mean the laundry room, and the stuffed closet, I mean the home of your heart! This week I dive into the need to let the Lord come clean all the hidden, wounded, dirty, and hurting places of our hearts! If this episode blessed you, I would be so honored if you shared it with a friend, rated it, or left us a review! I always love to connec...
