42 years after independence Zimbabwe is still using an act that was drafted 8 years before independence, for the management of heritage (the national museums and monument of Rhodesia act 25:11). I had a wonderful time with Polite Dzvairo and Gugulethu Moyo as we discussed the shortcomings of this act in the management of African heritage and possible solutions.
