Inside Out 2 - MOVIE REVIEW

Inside Out 2 - MOVIE REVIEW

Hey everyone, welcome back to another review! Inside Out 2, the sequel to one of the most celebrated films Pixar (a FANTASTIC studio) has ever put out, has now hit theaters but the hype for this one just hasn't been there. I was looking forward to it and was very curious about what Pixar had to say about emotions during our teenage years as opposed to being a child but it's weird that it took 9 years. And an even weirder choice was waiting 9 years and not aging Riley up a little more. Anyways, we now have the film. Does it live up to the original? Find out in this review!
    Inside Out 2:
    Directed by: Kelsey Mann
Screenplay by: Dave Holstein, Meg LeFauve
    Produced by: Mark Nielsen
Executive Producers: Pete Docter, Jonas Rivera, Dan Scanlon
    Music by: Andrea Datzman
Cinematography by: Adam Habib, Jonathan Pytko
    Editing by: Maurissa Horowitz
Casting by: Natalie Lyon, Kevin Reher
    Production Design by: Jason Deamer
Cast: Maya Hawke, Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Lewis Black, Tony Hale, Liza Lapira, Ayo Edebiri, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Paul Walter Hauser
Synopsis: Teenager Riley’s mind headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone.

Hit Man (2024) - MOVIE REVIEW

Hey everybody, welcome back to MOVIE Morning! One of my most anticipated films of the year, Richard Linklater's Hit Man, has now hit theaters locally. It has been playing on Netflix in most markets for over a week now but that wasn't the case in my corner of the world where we're getting a full theatrical release. As a HUGE Linklater and Glen Powell fan, the early buzz surrounding this movie back during awards season got me really pumped to check this one out. I've finally seen it so here are my thoughts on whether or not this is one of Linklater's best!
    Hit Man:
    Directed by: Richard Linklater
Screenplay by: Richard Linklater & Glen Powell
Based on the Texas Monthly Article by: Skip Hollandsworth
Produced by: Jason Bateman, Mike Blizzard, Michael Costigan, Richard Linklater, Glen Powell
    Music by: Graham Reynolds
    Cinematography by: Shane F. Kelly
    Editing by: Sandra Adair
    Casting by: Vicky Boone
    Production Design by: Bruce Curtis
    Art Direction by: Rodney Becker
    Costume Design by: Juliana Hoffpauir
    Cast: Glen Powell, Adria Arjona
Synopsis: A mild-mannered professor moonlighting as a fake contract killer sparks a chain reaction of trouble when he falls for a client.

Bad Boys: Ride or Die - MOVIE REVIEW

Bad Boys: Ride or Die - MOVIE REVIEW

Hey everyone, the fourth Bad Boys film - Bad Boys: Ride or Die - has hit theaters globally. I only got into this franchise a couple of years ago and admittedly, I am not really a super fan of the Bad Boys films like I am for some of my favorite action franchises like Mission: Impossible. That being said, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence's chemistry always keeps these films alive and entertaining no matter what. I've also become a pretty big fan of the directing duo Adil & Bilall, who directed the previous Bad Boys film (BY FAR the best of the franchise up to that point), the best episodes of Ms. Marvel and the, unfortunately, canceled Batgirl film. So, does Bad Boys: Ride or Die serve as another solid entry in the franchise or is it staring to show signs of running out of gas? Find out in this review!
    Bad Boys: Ride or Die:
Directed by: Adil El Arbi, Bilall Fallah
Written by: Chris Bremner & Will Beall
Based on Characters Created by: George Gallo
Produced by: Jerry Bruckheimer, Will Smith, Chad Oman, Doug Belgrad
Executive Producers: Barry Waldman, Mike Stenson, James Lassiter, Jon Mone, Chris Bremner, Martin Lawrence
    Music by: Lorne Balfe
    Cinematography by: Robrecht Heyvaert
Editing by: Asaf Eisenberg, Dan Lebental
Casting by: Lindsay Graham, Mary Vernieu
    Production Design by: Jon Billington

Synopsis: After their late former Captain is framed, Lowrey and Burnett try to clear his name, only to end up on the run themselves.

The Acolyte - Episodes 1-2 REVIEW (A Star Wars Series)

The Acolyte - Episodes 1-2 REVIEW (A Star Wars Series)

Hey everyone, the series premiere (first two episodes) of the latest Star Wars series ‘The Acolyte’ has dropped on Disney+. Prior to seeing how these shows eventually turned out, this was one of my more anticipated projects from Disney Star Wars but shows like The Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi have killed most of my enthusiasm for this franchise. The trailers themselves also fell very flat. So, does The Acolyte continue the downward spiral of these Star Wars shows or will it inject new life into this fizzling saga? Find out in this SPOILER-FREE review of the first two episodes! Synopsis: An investigation into a shocking crime spree pits a respected Jedi Master against a dangerous warrior from his past. - Star Wars

Venom: The Last Dance - Official Trailer REACTION

Venom: The Last Dance - Official Trailer REACTION

Welcome back to another episode of MOVIE Morning as we discuss the first trailer for Sony and Marvel’s upcoming VENOM: THE LAST DANCE, the movie that seems to be Tom Hardy’s swan song playing this character. What I have I just witnessed? Rumors about the plot for this third entry have been circulating for a year now but now seeing the trailer, it’s pretty impressive how much they’ve been able to hide from us until now. Here, I discuss my initial reaction to the trailer and the potential plot implications of a Symbiote invasion, as well as how this trilogy could close out!
