Peter Russell is the author of the new book, Forgiving Humanity: How the Most Innovative Species Became the Most Dangerous. Peter is the widely acclaimed author of The Global Brain and other pioneering works. He earned an honors degree in theoretical physics and psychology as well as a masters degree in computer science at the University of Cambridge. He subsequently went to India where he explored meditation and Eastern philosophy, and was one of the first people to introduce personal development programs to corporations in the 1970s.

Paul Hawken is the author of Blessed Unrest: How the Largest Movement in the World Came into Being and Why No One Saw it Coming. Paul is an environmentalist, entrepreneur, journalist, and best-selling author of six previous books. He is the architect and leading proponent of reform with respect to ecological practices. Starting at age 20, he has dedicated his life to sustainability and changing the relationship between business and the environment.

Peter Coyote is the author of the new book, Zen in the Vernacular: Things As It Is. Peter is an award-winning actor, author, director, screenwriter, and narrator who has worked with some of the world’s most distinguished filmmakers. Recognized for his narration work, he narrated the PBS series The Pacific Century, winning an Emmy award, as well as over a dozen Ken Burns documentaries, including The Roosevelts, for which he won a second Emmy. In 2011 he was ordained as a Zen Buddhist priest and in 2015 received “transmission” from his teacher, making him an independent Zen teacher. The author of several books, he lives in northern California.

Amanda Montell is the author of the book, The Age of Magical Overthinking: Notes on Modern Irrationality. Amanda is a writer and linguist from Baltimore. She is the author of the acclaimed books Wordslut and Cultish. Alongside the publication of The Age of Magical Overthinking in April 2024, she is launching a new podcast, Magical Overthinkers. Creator and host of the hit podcast Sounds Like a Cult, Montell’s writing has appeared in the New York Times, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, and more. She first met Stan in 1986 in Germany and then in a month-long holotropic breathwork seminar at the Esalen Institute, which led her to participate in a three-year training with him in Switzerland. Since 1989 she has facilitated holotropic breathwork workshops and trainings. She lives with her husband, Stan, in Wiesbaden, Germany.
