The BHP is a chronological retelling of the history of Britain with a particular focus upon the lives of the people. You won't find a dry recounting of dates and battles here, but instead you'll learn about who these people were and how their desires, fears, and flaws shaped the histories of England, Scotland, and Wales.

The best by far
I just wanted to thank you for such an amazing project. I’ve always been fond of English history and therefore I’m going to study history at the university. As I am from Russia and my university is - actually - in the UK, I started studying British history on my own when I came across this podcast.
I cannot express how much it helps me. It is a kind of combination of author’s charisma+interesting facts+professional analysis.
So keep being such a wonderful lector and good luck!
