This week The Stitch Up is jetting off to India! The contestants are challenged with making Nehru jackets, getting creative with Madras cotton and calico, and constructing sari-inspired evening wear in the made-to-measure challenge🥻 

Esme and Patrick are joined by a special guest, as are Jo and James! Priya Khanchandani stars in the sewing room while Asmaa, winner of Season 9 of The Great British Sewing Bee, chats to our duo on the podcast.

Welcome back to a brand new series of The Stitch Up, where James and Jo discuss the first episode of The Great British Sewing Bee Series 10 🎉

For the first task of the new series, the contestants were asked to create a denim A-line midi skirt with visible topstitching in a contrasting thread. This meant that every seam was visible and nothing could escape Esme’s scrutiny! 🧐 

The transformation challenge meant turning T-shirts into creative new designs and in the made-to-measure 10 beautiful day dresses were stitched up!
