Norman Blair Brightening Our Inner Skies | Yin Yoga Interview
In this interview I have the honour of interviewing Norman Blair, author of Brightening Our Inner Skies: Yin and Yoga. I know Norman Blair as a yin yoga teacher and author of one of my most beloved and used yin yoga books: Brightening Our Inner skies. I personally go between 2 yin yoga books - Sarah Powers Insight Yoga and his Brightening Your Inner Skies. Of course, Sarah Powers wrote the forward for his Brightening Your inner Skies.
What I love about Norman Blair is the way that he embodies yin in his writing and in his teaching. I love howfor Norman, yin yoga is much more than the practice of anatomy, but that the body is a vehicle to access mindfulness, our energy body, our psycho emotional well being.
In this interview Norman and I talk about what drew him to yin yoga and what keeps him interested in yin yoga. We also talk about why yin yoga when he has such an interest in mindfulness and meditation.
We spend a lot of time talking about the principles of yin along with his current edge. We finish our interview together by talking about what captivates him most about teaching yin yoga right now and also what frustrates him most about teaching yin yoga right now.

5 ways to Awaken the 💃Divine Feminine💃 with Yoga
We all have masculine and feminine energy within us. In order to balance our masculine and feminine energy it is helpful to spend some time cultivating our divine feminine energy. It is no secret that most of our lives are spent in our masculine energy: focused on productivity, logic, actions and results.
This is why I have recently spent a lot of time awakening the divine feminine energy in my own yoga practice and bringing those qualities into my teachings more and more.
When we take the time to cultivate our divine feminine energy we bring the masculine and feminine energies into union and this gives our action and productivity inspiration.
In this video I am going to share with you 5 qualities we can bring into our yoga practice to awaken the sacred feminine with yoga.

In this short video I will explain how vibrating massage balls work to reduce symptoms of delayed onset muscle soreness and how they create a neurological response to help increase range of motion. Both of these benefits of using massage balls and vibrating massage balls could be of interest to yogis. I have shared the link to the references I have used below. I will also show a technique to change the pattern of tight pec minor muscles that come from rounded posture and screen time as well as show some options for shoulder pain.
I will discuss who the RubBall is for and whether the RubBall is worth it at its price point of $129 for yogis.
