Both are from Australia - Dom Agius, a physics student at the University of Sydney and Milan Leonard, a physics & computer science student at the Australian National University. We discuss Dom's research into nanoparticles using lasers, Milan's research using deep learning to identify cancers, the ethics of machine learning, start-up culture and science communication.

Today we will be talking with Karna Morey, who is an undergraduate physics student at MIT and astrophysics researcher. We talk to Karna about the responsibility we have as scientists, lack of diversity in research, the latest discoveries about black holes and where the future of space research is going. Karna is also an elite runner and recently volunteered as a poll worker for the US Elections. We talk to him about the delicate balance of university-life-work and how he manages to do everything.
