Side Note: At some points, there was a slight lag in the recording. I've tried to clear it up as much as possible but there is sometimes overlap with the guests talking.

Climate Cash. How To Turn Your Money Green - With Special Guest Stacey Lowman - Make It Meaningful

Climate Cash. How To Turn Your Money Green - With Special Guest Stacey Lowman - Make It Meaningful

What would you say if I told you there was a way to have a positive impact on the environment that was 27x times greater than going vegan and giving up air-travel combined? Interesting, right? If that peaks your interest then the first episode of our 'Make It Meaningful' series is something you don't want to miss.

For this months episode of the Cerebration podcast, I chatted with Stacey Lowman, the Founder of Pachira Money & a certified financial coach. She wants to redefine what it means to be good with money and empower others to have a healthy, happy and positive relationship with money.

The first week of November was the launch of Pachira Money's brand new Green Money programme that helps participants learn how to use their money to make environmentally friendly, climate-positive choices. Choices that mean we all thrive, financially and environmentally.

In this episode, we discuss the dark days at the start of the financial crisis from inside the offices at Canary Wharf, how everyone's money is part of the solution for tackling the climate crisis and how we can make choices that work with, instead of against the planet.

The Stay Home Superheroes & Sophie's Stories - With Special Guest Sophie Marsh - Fearless Stories

At the beginning of the pandemic, children all over the world are having to stay at home. Adults all over the world are unsure how to explain something they are struggling to comprehend themselves. Play and Creative Arts Therapist Sophie Marsh wrote and posted a Therapeutic Story entitled 'The Stay Home Superheroes' to help adults communicate to children about the pandemic on a level that children could connect with.

The story went viral and has reached hundreds of thousands of people, it has been translated into 15 languages and has been published and animated. The popularity of the story was the catalyst for Sophie's business, Sophie's Stories to expand into new places and reach a global audience.

We spoke with Sophie about the journey she has had over the last 6 months, how her life has changed in that time, how she has overcome her own challenges and how in doing so has been able to use her experience to inspire others to take up the mantle of Therapeutic story writing.
