Despite  headlines declaring the UN's International Court of Justice ordered Israel to immediately halt its offensive in Rafah,  Israeli officials claim that the judges at The Hague  issued a very carefully worded ruling that does not actually compel the fighting in Rafah to stop, nor does it prevent Israel from defending itself.

Robbie Sabel is a professor of law at Jerusalem’s Hebrew university and a former legal advisor at the foreign ministry. KAN's Mark Weiss spoke with him about Friday’s ICJ ruling.

The Beit Hillel Theater Workshop at Hebrew University of Jerusalem had auditioned and planned to put on the first production of the popular musical Fame last September. But the war stopped it, mainly because much of the cast was drafted to fight. But now, they have returned and will be performing the over two-hour show from May 26th through June 3rd.
