    Muti is a multidisciplinary artist, movement educator, artistic director, choreographer, filmmaker, musician and curator, who has worked in the industry for over 12 years. from commercials to films to fashion to festivals. Muti has trailblazed through the industry with his unique choreographic language, spiritual insights and holistic approach. As a Rwandan Burdian mixed Korean born in London it's clear that his lineage has played a massive part in his global outlook and using movement as a conduit for Social Change, Healing and Human innovation.

    Muti has worked with Avant Garde Dance, La verona, Far from the Norm, A&R company & Salah El brody company, appeared in music videos for Beyonce, Sampa the great, Clean Bandit, Connie Constance. He was part of the original Cast of Cats the Movie, developing the movement language that was later adopted by Global stars such as Les Twins, Jenifer Hudson and Taylor swift.
    Muti has movement directed for London Fashion week with Saul Nash, Rolla coaster magazine, Vogue India & Italia, Jay Lewn, Denai Moore & many more.

    Muti has taught internationally with his interdisciplinary practice and movement methodology 'Living For:m' Which fuses contemporary movement modalities, Martial arts, Krump and the NeuroScience of Flow states. He is one of the few holistic teachers from Integro Dance Beyond, who teaches David Zambrano's Flying low technique and Passing through with his personal QiGong forms as an access point to exploring the physics of motion.

    Muti has directed and choreographed multiple films, some include, 'Negus' Commissioned by Saddlers wells, 'Drummer Warrior Storyteller' Funded by Arts council england, Muti has two films in post production 'Nu Te' & 'ORA' from his multidisciplinary performance Company ' InforMotion' and was recently funded by arts council for his upcoming company work 'Ancient Dawn'.

    Muti is passionate about creating transformational spaces for community cohesion, embodiment and artistic development, with his Residencies 'Dark Matter' , 'Alkemist' taking place in UK & Egypt and his decolonial well being programs at Medicine festival and Boomtown with 'Ubuntu Village' Muti is a thought leader in UK developing the landscape of afro indigenous practices and philosophy with melanted men's movement 'Sons of Zion', demystify black men's mental health with various activations and immersions designed to support healing for the black male experience.

    Eric Murinzi is a Rwandan storyteller, fine art artist, documentary photographer, Filmmaker, Fixer, and music-lover who was born and raised in Kigali, Rwanda. He discovered his passion for Art in 2009 after the death of his mother. In 2010, He met a Canadian filmmaker who would introduce him to sound systems, video production, and photography. After a few years, Eric started volunteering at his local church as a videographer, photographer, and drummer and also working as a wedding videographer as a side hustle. After finishing secondary school and couldn’t afford to continue with university due to financial reasons, He decided to continue with his videography & photography passion. He started out as a freelancer working with different local and international NGOs as a video consultant. The NGOs include CARE International, UNPD, AEGIS Trust, World Vision, Alibaba groups, 2014 Big Brother Africa, and many more. In 2016, Voice of America (VOA) and Global Africa Press (GAP) recognized Eric’s talent and passion for storytelling and they trained him in photojournalism for 3 months before hiring him as their correspondent in Africa focusing mainly in West Africa. He supervised over 35 journalists in different parts of Africa and worked on many stories especially for “VOUS ET NOUS SHOW” and “WASHINGTON FRUM SHOW” on VOA. After three years of working at VOA, Eric continued with his photojournalism journey with BBC Story Works where he still works from time to time as an independent contractor. In recent years, Eric has also worked with Meta (Facebook) to work on the production of short films that are being used in the Meta headset VR experience for people who can’t manage or afford to visit the gorillas. In 2019 Eric started a long-term documentary photo project called BONDS & BROOMS. It is a black-and-white photo project documenting women and men who made Rwanda the cleanest country in Africa. Since he started the project it has appeared in different photo exhibitions around the world. He’s also working on another separate project fully funded by SNV Rwanda called UMUTAKWASUKU. It’s also a documentary photo project documenting the human sanitation impact in Rwanda.

    Nizeyimana Claude was born in 1998 in Rubavu, Rwanda. He is a talented Rwandan professional

    sculptor, set designer, and ceramist who primarily works with wood and metal. From an early age,

    he displayed a keen interest in art, experimenting with various forms such as sculptures,

    woodwork, clay, and comic sketches during his primary school years. Despite the scarcity of artists

    in the region at the time, Nizeyimana’s determination to acquire skills and knowledge in the field

    of art remained steady.

    Driven by discipline and passion, Nizeyimana Claude decided to pursue his formal education at

    Nyundo School of Arts. Here, he honed his talents and continued to explore various aspects of art,

    particularly focusing on working with wood and metal, which would become his dominant

    mediums. After graduating from Nyundo School of Arts, Claude dived deeper into his artistic

    journey and found inspiration in his life experiences, channeling them through the lens of

    surrealism.

    Throughout his career, Nizeyimana has had the opportunity to work on notable projects alongside

    accomplished artists. He was part of the set design team for “Neptune Crest,” a production directed

    by Saul Williams and Anisia uzeyman. Additionally, he played a significant role in the set design

    team for “Imandwa SS22” by Moshions, showcasing his talent and creativity in shaping visual

    narratives for this esteemed fashion house.

    Furthermore, he was among the top four sculptors who prepared the esteemed Kwanda Sculpture

    Exhibition, held at L’espace in August 2022, further solidifying his reputation as a distinguished

    artist. Nizeyimana’s talent gained recognition on an international level when he was chosen as one

    of the exhibiting artists at the 73rd FIFA Congress in 2023, a prestigious event that took place in

    Kigali, Rwanda.

    He joined Cedric Mizero's set designer team, which was responsible for preparing various movies

    and projects, including the aforementioned FIFA Congress.

    Aside from his individual accomplishments, Nizeyimana Claude is also a valuable member of the

    Cedric Mizero set designer team, involved in the preparation of various movies and projects.

    Notably, the 73rd FIFA Congress in 2023 was among their recent collaborations.

    Nizeyimana is also associated with the MWINDA collection as a sculpture artist, further

    showcasing his versatility and skill in the art world by also contributing to the rich tapestry of

    Rwandan and international art.

    He was graciously invited by the Embassy of Rwanda in Qatar to showcase his artistry as a solo

    artist during the 29th commemoration of Rwanda's Liberation Day in September 2023.

Great podcast!!

This is a very much needed podcast for the Rwandan community to understand that we have more to bring us together than keep us apart. All the stories that I’ve listened to are nothing short of inspiring. Each artist has a distinct way of thinking and they really take us into their story and their creative process. Great great idea Manzi and the well down to the whole “The Journey Podcast” team
