Beenie Man Interview: Beenie Man talks to Sarah C of Vibes 93.8FM Sarah C Show

    • Music

Beenie Man talks to Sarah C about his style, his music, his women and his opinions.

Beenie Man will be appearing this Sunday, 17 August 2008 at the Stratford Rex alongside Tony Matterhorn for the Birthday celebration of DJ Face.

In the spirit of fairness, we will look for Bounty Killa's perspective at the earliest opportunity. Alliance fans, never fear!

Following Beenie Man’s interview I was contacted by Dimmie Joe Muzic, management for Tanto Metro & Devonte who whole heartedly refute Beenie Man’s claim that he wrote and partly produced Tanto Metro & Devonte’s first hit, “Everyone Falls In Love Sometime”. Dimmie Joe Muzic have issued the following statement:

"To whom it may concern,
We would like to address the issue of wrongful information that was posted on your website in the form of an interview between Moses Davis also known as Beenie Man and Sarah C of Vibes 93.8 FM on August 13, 2008 08:55 AM. In the interview Beenie Man states that he was responsible for writing and partly producing everyone falls in love by Tanto Metro and Devonte and even implies that he is the one responsible for the Duo success in past years.

These remarks can be seen as a blatant disregard of respect and professionalism and since they were not corrected I believe that it is our responsibility to clear the air so to speak and let it be know that Moses Davis A.K.A Beenie Man did not write this or any such song for Tanto Metro and Devonte nor has he ever been a part of the production on any project that the duo has worked on. The song Everyone Falls in Love Sometimes was written by Devonte. Yes it is true that the two acts were at the same production company for many years and share many connections and aspects of the music business however their individual careers and creative aspects have never been intertwined in such a fashion. We feel that it is our responsibility to put an end to this untrue rumor, thus it would be our pleasure to do an interview via phone if necessary. It would also please us if you could organize a retraction or correction of the statement on your website.

We appreciate your cooperation and included in this email is our contact information for future reference.

Thank You and Much Respect.

The mischievous side of Sarah C wonders what inspired the lyric “beep beep who’s got the keys to my jeep”. I look forward to catching up with Tanto Metro and Devonte in the near future to hear their side of the story.
