    Need Help with Food Addiction

    Outside of our food addiction struggles, sometimes we need to make tweaks to the types of food we eat. What's really going on when you never feel full. Are you not eating enough or eating the "wrong" foods? This next video takes a deep dive into those feelings of "I never feel full no matter how much I eat."





    Never Feel Full

    When you never feel full, ask yourself the following questions:



    Think about the amount of fat or protein you include at each meal. Does the amount need to be adjusted?

    How much water do you normally drink?

    Is there an emotional need not being met when you feel hungry?

    Have you skipped a meal today? Are you restricting your eating on purpose?

    Are you eating because you are bored/anxious/sad/lonely/etc.?

    How much fiber have you eaten today?

    Can you describe the quality of carbs in your diet? (Think about carbs coming from fruit, vegetables, nuts, or seeds.) Why might this be important?



    There may not be a quick fix to your conundrum about "I never feel full", but by asking yourself some of these introspective questions, you might uncover an area that needs more attention.

    What does a typical dirty keto day look like? I get this question a lot. In today's podcast, I'm going to do a show and tell. Here are examples of meals and snacks for a typical dirty keto day. Nothing fancy or complicated!

    As you can see, there are no specialty ingredients, expensive products, or hard-to-find groceries on a typical dirty keto day. The foods I eat can be found at your local grocery store. My family operates on a tight budget, so extravagant or exotic foods are not an option.



    Family-Friendly Keto Meals

    The higher-fat, low-carbohydrate groceries I buy help me build delicious meals for my entire family. I do not make special meals for myself on the keto diet - who has time for THAT? Not me. It's been my experience that keto foods appeal to everyone. Meat, veggies, fat - these aren't "diet" foods. The combination tastes amazing!
