-
- Hobbies
EPISODE 24 - Clark, Hyung, and John welcome special guest Chris Costa (aka Costa Cards on Instagram) who talks about opening up a 1,600-square foot retail hobby shop to go along with his successful Big Night Breaks business. Costa also brings great insight into the hobby as a serial entrepreneur and shares what he'd like to see happen as the hobby grows and evolves. He also dishes on one of the coolest celebrity he's met since reentering the hobby (in addition to meeting Steve Aoki, Shaq, and Robert Kraft). The boys also discuss whether breakers should be able to claim the best spots (a controversial issue first posted on cardporn on Instagram). And they end the episode playing "Pick One - the hot takes edition" with each of them offering two hot hobby takes and then debating on which one is more true. This week's Pick One choices include: Paper parallels are better then Chrome parallels vs. SSP image variation are better then numbered rare flagship cards; Juan Soto will win 4 MVP awards vs. Shohei Ohtani will win 4 MVP awards; and Panini Select Basketball will overtake Panini Prizm Basketball vs. Optic Football will overtake Panini Prizm Football.
