Step inside for a calm, empowering, & loving conversation with Sister Aruna..

We discuss how to stay stable and on purpose with all of the dramas going on in the world, what spirituality & meditation are, what consciousness is, the fear of death, other current topics of our times, & much more...

Aruna is an internationally accomplished spiritual teacher and author who has been practicing meditation for the best part of 40 years. Aruna’s first encounter with spiritual truths and experience of meditation was at the age of 8. Her deep personal experiences led her to realize her purpose by the time she was 14.

Aruna is fortunate to have the blend of two cultures – the East and West! She was born in Kenya, educated in England, worked in Canada, and has lived in various other parts of the world, frequents India often, and has done a large part of her service in the Middle East where she currently resides in Kuwait.

The gift of a contemplative mind and her deep search for truth has enabled Aruna to focus on her personal soul-journey. Aruna’s writing was inspired by the teachings of the Brahma Kumaris, where she studied the gentle art of Raja Yoga Meditation. She is one of their experienced and dedicated teachers helping to promote this yogic art. Aruna also facilitates retreats and trainings, and manages various self-development projects.

She is the author of no less than 8 books, has helped found meditation centers in Istanbul, Vancouver, Baharin, & Kuwait, she is Certified Negotiator in Conflict Resolution,  as a well as the author of 'It’s Time' on itstimetomeditate.org, where she has been blogging for a decade.

In 2014 she received a ‘Women of Excellence Award’ from the Yoga Federation of India, for her contribution to social work.
