Death is the wish for some, the relief for many and the end of all. Another reality that has dawned on me in my mental health awareness journey and echoes ever so deeply is the words of Roosevelt, 'When you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on. My knots have been my friends who despite my struggles have come out and held me up in kindness, patience and assurance of their love, unconditionally. They listen. I am immensely grateful for that. I hope this episode helps you to be more empathetic and less judgmental of the people around you that are struggling to keep it together. Be their strength, when they face discouragement. Their hope, when they face hopelessness. We all need each other, and together in love and with love, is the only way we will win this fight against mental health stigma and begin to find long term workable solutions... it begins and ends with Y.O.U. #BecomeABetterU!
