My thoughts on Autism Speaks, Light it up blue and the puzzle piece symbolism

This is actually the audio of a video I created and I wanted to share on my podcast. In this video I give terms and best practices when addressing the autistic community. I am posting clips of the video on my podcasts Instagram @findyourtribepodcast. I discuss my POV (point of view) about the puzzle piece, the color blue, and the light it up blue symbolism of autism awareness. I share how I follow some content creators on the spectrum who have enlightened me about representation and how to support and uplift the autistic community. Thank you for listening.

Virtual engagements, should you be required to leave your camera on? Episode 2 Season 2

Virtual engagements, should you be required to leave your camera on? Episode 2 Season 2

In today’s episode I am a bit ventish (made up word stemming from vent) about why organizers of training and meetings in the work from home realm have these crazy keep your camera on rules. They say for participation credit you have to keep your camera on. It bugs me out because there is a certain level of control to that statement that I don’t agree with. If I am commenting in the chat box and answering questions, why are you requiring me to oddly stare at my face and the faces of others for hours LOL. Anyway enjoy my take on this common requirement and please feel free to chime in!!! Find me on Instagram @findyourtribepodcast and Facebook find your tribe podcast. tweet me @tribe_podcast
