1979 Revolution: Iranian or Islamic‪?‬ Your Native Analyst

Hallo - This is Somaye Dehban, a devoted Dutchified Iranian whose life is quite interwoven with politics. Your Native Analyst is a series of my op-eds (opinion-editorials) about how the events in Iran and the Middle East are reflected (or not) in the Western Media.

In Episode #5: 1979 Revolution: Iranian or Islamic? I will talk about Systemic Review which is the first stage of Understanding as the first phase of my personal and organizational transformation that I've dubbed Verbinding.

I will also talk about Iran’s so-called Islamic revolution. In February 1979 the Pahlavi dynasty collapsed, and in March Islamic Republic of Iran was established. I will share with you the timeline of this revolution and how the Islamic Republic has put into practice the lessons learned from this revolution to stop any other revolution from getting the needed momentum to erupt. I will also share with you what I consider the true meaning of freedom!
