Discussing about the journey of writing best-selling novels from comedy to parenting, and the importance of continuous improvement for business competitive advantage with Adhitya Mulya.

Adhitya Mulya is known as a famous fiction author in Indonesia. Some of his work have become Indonesia's best-selling books and have been adapted to motion pictures, such as "Jomblo" and "Sabtu Bersama Bapak".

So far, Adhitya has published 7 novels, 2 non-fiction books, and 5 scripts, namely: "Jomblo" (2003), Gege Mengejar Cinta" (2005), "Travelers Tale" (2007), "Catatan Mahasiswa Gila" (2011), "Mencoba Sukses" (2012), "Sabtu Bersama Bapak" (2014), "Parent’s Stories" (2016), "Bajak Laut & Purnama Terakhir" (2016), and "Bajak Laut & Mahapatih" (2019).

With his great work, he has received a lot of achievements such getting a nomination for Citra Award's Best Adaptation Scenario in the movie "Jomblo" in 2006. He has also received  Anugerah Pembaca Indonesia for the Most Favorite Non-Fiction Book Cover for "The Journeys", back in 2011. He was also nominated for Anugerah Pembaca Indonesia Award for the Most Favorite Book and Fiction Writers for "Sabtu Bersama Bapak" (2014).

In addition to his work as a novelist, Adhitya Mulya is also a Continuous Improvement Partner at A.P. Moller - Maersk, a global integrated container logistics company. As an alumni of Civil Engineering ITB, he started his career as a Management Trainee at Maersk in 2001, promoted to various positions, and now working as Area Continuous Improvement Partner for Indonesia & Phillipines.
