55. Make your workouts suck less & level up your mindset‪.‬ Christy Says Things Podcast

    • Andlighet

We're back this week with a fitness inspired episode, that of course I'm weaving some thoughts about mindset into!

If you didn't know, I have been heavily into fitness over the last 14ish years.   Initially I fell in love with fitness as a runner, then Crossfitter, then Orange Theory-er, Beachbody-er, (I was a Coach in all 3) and now currently I'm a F45 enthusiast, no longer coaching anything, and just love my group fitness classes.  :)

Fitness is very important to me and my mental health, but I also L-O-V-E feeling strong.  I truly believe that once you see what's possible for yourself, no matter who you are or the person you've been in the past when it comes to working out, that you can catch the bug and start to at least enjoy it if not love it.

If you are a super beginner with working out, you may want to go back and listen to episode 4 (I couldn't remember which one it was when I referenced it in the podcast, but it's not 10 like I said!) and start there to get more tips for newbies or people getting restarted into a fitness journey before you listen to this one, although you'll still have some takeaways that apply to more than just working out.

If you are someone who works out mostly because you have to, or has hit some plateaus in your fitness, you'll leave this episode with some tools you can use to break through that glass ceiling, improve your mental strength, and approach your workout from a brand new place tomorrow!

Grab a drink, grab a snack, and let's chat!

Thank you so much to each and every one of you who has shared the podcast on your socials or with a friend!  I freaking LOVE seeing the episodes you’re currently listening to in your IG stories, old or new, so thank you from the bottom of my big old heart for tagging me!  (@christysaysthings is perfect!)

If you’ve enjoyed any episode you’ve listened to, would you mind taking a minute to subscribe and to give the podcast a 5-star rating over on Apple Music? This allows it to come up more frequently for other people to listen to. (And hopefully love too!).

I release new episodes every Friday, so don't forget to subscribe so you don't miss a thing. If you aren't following yet, come hang with me over @christysaysthings.  Talk soon!
