The Berlin-based architecture theoretician Niklas Maak is the arts editor at Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and a lecturer at Harvard University. He has written about the urbanization's many negative consequences, such as land-speculation, dead city centers and fenced luxury residential areas. But he also sees something else in the post-capitalist (and, further down the line, post-work) urban environment - the opportunity of creating dynamic cities where inclusion, empathy and communal co-habitation represent the smartness of the future - not necessarily technology. We met Niklas Maak before his talk at the conference Arwidsson Talks at A House in Stockholm in April 2019. Podcast host: Christian von Essen / Learn more at http://www.hejaframtiden.se
