Welcome to Abandon Quest! This is a sort of an out of character introduction to the player characters that will be featured in our campaign, set in Waterdeep, the City of Splendor!

This is going live at the same time as Episode 0, which largely accomplishes the same thing, so if you’d rather jump right into the narrative, feel free to skip this. Otherwise, enjoy getting to know our players!

A storm rolls into Waterdeep.

After slaying a troll in the Yawning Portal, a famous author makes an offer. Blitz receives a warning and formulates a plan. Zig navigates the law and throws their weight around. Miz’ra shoots her shot, for better or worse. Braden clashes with an old friend and also makes brunch plans.

Crime doesn't pay in the City of Splendors.

After a disastrous encounter with the City Watch, the party takes refuge in a strange curiosity shop before finally making their way to the Skewered Dragon. Zig laments their situation. Blitz deals with a subordinate. Miz’ra makes a death save. Braden gets his sword wet.

Just as they thought their search was over, our party discovers the Waterdavian noble Renaer Neverember, who seems even more out of place than they are. Blitz makes bank. Zig endorses dangerous plans. Miz’ra finds a clue. Braden is a patient mentor.
