On the afternoon of February 19, 1982, Jim Krauseneck arrived home from work after 5pm like he always did. When he entered his home, he discovered a brutal scene in which his 29 year old wife Cathy was slain, and their 3 year old daughter stood in a daze. The investigation into Cathy’s murder wouldn’t conclude until 40 years later in 2022, and some believe it has never truly been solved.

In December 2004, Bobbie Jo Stinnett was a 23-year-old wife and mother-to-be. She and her husband Zeb were expecting to welcome a beautiful baby girl, but just a month before her due date, Bobbie Jo was murdered, and her unborn baby was stolen from her womb. Conversely, Lisa Montgomery had a tragic upbringing, and adult life. After surgery that would prevent her from getting pregnant again, she strangely wound up cradling a newborn infant the day after Bobbie Jo’s murder.
