14 year old Reena Virk had been ostracized from her classmates and was the victim of severe bullying. On one particular night in November 1997, an especially heinous and vicious attack was carried out against her by other teens. This attack resulted in Reena’s death, the prosecution of 8 teenagers, and significant media attention regarding girl violence in 1990s Canada.
