The Adriatic, sans Slovenia, continues to rely heavily on fossil fuels to meet its energy demands. This scenario presents a broad spectrum of investment possibilities as countries in the region aim to diversify their energy portfolios. So far NLB has financed up to 170 projects, with over 90 financed in 2023 alone.
