S1E2 - The Power of Travel

Today I am joined by my good friend, Baily Easterberg, who has taken a different approach to traveling, but nonetheless is still taking on the adventure. Today's quote is as follows, “Fill your life with experiences, not things. Have stories to tell, not stuff to show." As I remind you all, my philosophy is to tell the story. Tell your story. It’s important to note that traveling does not mean going to another state or country. It could be experiencing a new restaurant nearby, visiting your neighboring city, or camping with friends. The ideas are limitless, but the constant is the ability to share your story with others.

On our very first episode of After Class Conversations, I will be joined by none other than Jalisa White. As a former two term Student Body President and member on the Florida Board of Governors, Jalisa knows first hand what it’s like to adjust from being in a very prominent role to moving on to a more private role. Adjusting to new experiences can be difficult, but it’s nothing we can’t handle.

    Introducing: After Class Conversations

    Introducing: After Class Conversations

Hi there! And thank you for joining me. Throughout college, I found myself having the best and most meaningful conversations with my friends after class. Whether we were working on homework, hanging out, or having dinner, we always found ourselves talking about significant and purposeful topics. I wanted to share these conversations with everyone which is why I created the After Class Conversations podcast. Throughout this journey, we will be exploring stories, ideas, and experiences related to life, leadership, and courage which will allow us to reflect on our lives and move forward together. The key? Vulnerability. In order to learn from each other and grow, we need to have these meaningful conversations. Episodes will air every Wednesday on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. I want to inspire you to be true to yourself and embrace your story. I cannot wait to embark on this journey with you. With that said, class is dismissed.
