How does one experience human flourishing? What does the Bible teach us on this topic?



In this new 4-part sermon series, “The Wisdom of Jesus on Human Flourishing”, we will consider what Jesus Himself teaches on this topic in selected portions of His famous Sermon on the Mount.



Pastor GL will brings the first sermon, “A Righteousness Beyond Expectation” from Matthew 5:17-20. Come and hear what Jesus thinks about the life that we should all dream of living.

The mission of the church hasn’t changed since the birth of the church but the expression of missions has dramatically evolved.

However, the church must remember the power of the Message, the persistence of the Messengers and the priority of the Mandate.

Pastor Thomas brings us the preached word from Matthew 28:18-20 in The 3M’s of the Great Commission.

Most of us are quite comfortable to be with people who are alike but we are not so comfortable with people who are quite different. This uneasiness hinders relational unity wherever we are, including our families and our churches.



Ps Too will conclude the “Grace Unchained” sermon series with the sermon, “Unity in Freedom” (Galatians 2:1-10). We will learn how gospel freedom results in uncanny unity in human relationships.

Many people are not satisfied with how they are and where they are in life. We are on a quest for change. We try things like a makeover, a new wardrobe, or a new career. Somehow these changes don’t seem to go deep enough.

Ps Too addresses the need for change as he continues the “Grace Unchained” sermon series with the sermon, “From Persecutor to Preacher” (Galatians 1:10-24). We will see how God is in the business of changing people outside in and from inside out.

We have been taught from a young age that to gain acceptance in the world, we must do the right things, establish the right connections, and achieve the right outcomes. In short, our future is completely in our hands. This underlying belief is pervasive among Christians and non-Christians alike.



In the 3-part sermon series, “Grace Unchained”, we will delve into the transformational truth of God’s grace that impacts every aspect of our lives. Ps Too brings us the first sermon titled, “No Other Gospel” from Galatians 1:1-9. He reveals to us how the gospel frees us from the demands of everyday life.

We live in a world that celebrates freedom from the expectations of others. Yet this is also a world that heavily imposes its expectations on us. And so we find a “fear of man” lurking in our most unexpected thoughts:



”I don’t want to let others down.” “I don’t want to be a burden to anyone.” “I’m a perfectionist - I don’t want to reveal my flaws!” How do we overcome this fear of man?



Ps Johanan answers this question with the final instalment of the Saul series: “Tears for a Coward” from 1 Samuel 15.
