When I was in Japan for work, I visited the Peace Museum in Hiroshima. It’s purpose is to show the human cost of war. Wars are fought between governments and principalities. Who suffers the most, but the innocent civilians caught in the middle. Much like it is the Israeli and Palestinian civilians who are likely to suffer the greatest losses in the current conflict. By the way, all you Ukrainian flag flying social media folk better get the Israeli flag up in your bio’s, lest you be hypocritical…

Weekly Word from the car again. My mind can link things together that otherwise aren't related. On the anniversary of 9/11, I somehow went to school chaplains in Queensland. They have to fundraise most of their incomes, which means much of their attention and energy is spent keeping their jobs funded rather than working with students who so desperately need their input and guidance.

In response to the 'outrage' regarding the newly-released Sex For Children book, Koraly Dimitriadis writes that simply because children have the ability to access countless hours of pornographic material, they should read this book. I repeat myself when I say I have no idea why these people want 10-year-olds to learn how to perform blowjobs.

Big W, popular department store in Australia, has decided that a book encouraging children to participate in sex, written by Yumi Stynes and Dr Melissa Kang, should be on their shelves. I will never understand why these people think that children ought to be taught explicit sexual content, tips, and techniques.

Make the logical and coherent argument to me that children need to be shown and taught this.
