Welcome to Season 1, Episode 1 of LIVE WITH THE LIONS the Columbia Women's Basketball Podcast.
Our guest today is Junior, Sienna Durr. She has taken it upon herself during this time to help grow the community around Columbia University. She is doing this by working alongside some teammates and friends with the Harlem Childrenzone. She has helped create a mentorship program outside of Columbia Women's Basketball that they have taken solely on as their responsibility.
Sienna gives us a rundown of a trip she took with a teammate, Mikayla Markham took this fall across the US as well as other travel opportunities she has had the opportunity to have as a Columbia student-athlete.
Sienna in her sophomore year after being Rookie of the year prior, gives us her favorite moments and highlights from our most successful season yet. We talk about the fun bus rides home from wins and her favorite things about New York City.
Due to the global pandemic, the Columbia Women's Basketball team will not be playing in any competition this year.
We are going to make the most of the time we have by giving our fans and lion family the inside scoop! We are trying to share personal stories and favorite moments that made us laugh and cry the past few months and even seasons.
