As professional DJ’s we should strive to be excellent communicators at our events. This isn’t about communicating with the clients but with the guests when you are on the microphone. Trigger phrases are a traditional way of opening up mic, many of us have them, many of us were trained to do it each and every time. Now lets shake things up and steer away from the old ways of making announcements to an audience. By changing from a traditional mic opening and bringing in a human element to your voice, it will make you sound more professional, human and approachable.
