Connect a million people through laughter | 5 steps to handling our inner critic In Search of Adventure Show

    • Självhjälp

Do YOU know enough people to get a million members into a facebook group?
I know I don’t, and I would imagine our guest Danielle Askew didn’t think so either. Turns out, she would have been wrong. Starting as a way to make each other laugh, the Bin Isolation Outing group began with friends sharing photos of themselves getting dressed up in costumes to take their rubbish bins out - because during COVID19 our bins get to go out more than we do! Within one month it had turned into an international phenomenon, even being mentioned on the Graham Norton show, all driven by Danni’s belief that laughter is the best medicine. Thousands of people now take part in bin outings every day and the positivity the group has generated has been lauded by first responders all over the world. Not surprisingly this has been quite the steep learning curve for Danni, and she shares the incredible positives, and the unfortunate negatives that hosting a group like this brings.
Plus, Peita & Hayley chat about the danger in letting our inner critic get too loud, and provide some tips to ensure our inner negative voice doesn’t rob us of trully joyous experiences.
