    Hello today we're going to talk to Antoine Jenkins. Antoine Jenkins is going to give us some key gems of being an entrepreneur and what made him successful today. In this episode he explains the pros and cons of being an entrepreneur, how your mindset can affect your success in a business, and the effects of having a team. Antoine is a 22 year old entrepreneur and is Minnesota number one luxury shoe designer. Ant has made shoes for a lot of well known artists such as Roddy Rich, Lil keed, Lil skies, and the actress Storm Reid from Euphoria. In this episode we’re also going to talk about what motivates him, who he looks up to for inspiration, and what made him want to stop going to school and pursue his dream in shoe designing and taking the art route. Antoine is a hard working kid and doesn't take no for an answer. If Ant sees something to be achievable he goes and gets it without any questions asked. I hope this episode motivates you to start your own business or to not be scared about being fully committed to whatever you want to do in life because opportunity is everywhere and now is the perfect time.

    Today we were fortunate enough to interview Kalcee Kent on the importance consumer behavior within her role. She has a bachelors degree in Communions. In college, she had two internships one with The Green Bay Packers and one with The Green Bay Gamblers (which is a junior hockey team). Currently she is the community relations and fan development manager, as well as the merchandise manager at the Fargo Force. In this interview, we first talked about target market and how it effects the way they run their company as well as the way Kalcee plans promotions. We also discussed psychographics and how important of a role they play when really learning who your target market is and how they react to different things. We also dig into values and how they can impact the company and how you can play a role in impacting the community’s value system through different programs. Lastly, she discusses how important customer satisfaction is when gaining and retailing a customer base. When looking into customer satisfaction she talks about how season ticket holders play a large role in this and how they go the extra mile for them. We then conclude the interview with Kelcee giving advice on the importance of networking and the importance of listening to your consumer when marketing.

    We had the opportunity to interview Karla Sayler for our podcast. Karla is an entrepreneur who started out as a Nurse at St. Alexis Hospital. Karla now owns Dermacare Clinic, which is a skincare clinic. She is also in real estate renovating and renting out properties. With her 14 years of experience she has encountered some bumps in the road but now came out on top. Throughout the interview we learned about the ways the two businesses are different and how she manages them both. She talked about what marketing strategies work and how consumer behavior can change depending on the target market. We also touched on habitual buying behavior and how she uses the relationships and trust she has built to make her customers choices easy and effortless to keep coming back. She believes strongly in networking yourself to have a further reach in your community and in turn have more people to come to you as customers. It is important to reach customers on all platforms such as social media, print ads, word of mouth, etc. We really enjoyed talking with Karla and got to more about the world of the business and marketing mix.     In our podcast today we interviewed Janelle Brandon, she is a wellness and lifestyle medicine supervisor at Sanford Health. She is from Frazee, MN where she graduated and then went to the University of Morris. She then transferred to the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities and graduated with a Theater and art management degree. Janelle has worked in all areas from theaters to technology and has learned to use marketing in all of these areas. In the podcast we talk about the journey that Janelle has made along with the lessons she learned along the way. Some topics that we target are Motivation of Consumers and Impact of Marketing Stimulus. Some of the key takeaways involve lessons she has learned, and what is important to know to have a successful career especially in these times.
