This week, just as we emerge into the burnishing light of Ostara, I am bringing you a celebration!
2024 to me feels like it has a very unique energy to it, and 4 years after the world changed completely, it is giving me some very clear messages about how to BE in the world as we move forward.
So this dropped in for me recently - the celebration not just of “successful” women, but specifically unbound.
Unbound - those who have by necessity freed themselves from the shackles of patriarchal culture and done things THEIR way. Deprogrammed, deconditioned, Reclaiming, remembering, reintegrating and re-honouring what it really means to be a woman in all her divine feminine power - not just being a “good girl”!
But this is all just some chit-chat to get us started. The REAL conversations are happening with the women I’m celebrating - in their own words.
And this week I’m thrilled to start off with Ceryn Rowntree and The Divine Feminist. Today I read a few pages from her wonderfully affirming, nuanced and honest take on The Divine Feminine and why it’s not about “man-hating”; but most importantly, why the conversation goes SO much deeper and wider than we’ve been allowed to voice until fairly recently.

Most of us have grown up in a world where feelings - especially “big” feelings are not deemed appropriate, acceptable or even relevant within our society.
So we’ve learned to stuff them down, routinely numb them and avoid, dismiss and gaslight them - within ourselves as well as in those around us.
And yes - I’m talking about the HIGHS as well as the lows! This is going to make you self-reflect on those celebration moments for yourself in particular!
Our big feelings are the GOLDEN CORE of our humanity, and learning to honour, acknowledge and healthily process and EXPRESS these feelings are the key to our evolution, both individually and as a species.
