Hello everyone! Welcome to Down By The River the official podcast for The River Franklin Park Church in Franklin Park/Sewickley Pennsylvania which is just outside of Pittsburgh. This podcast is a way for people to stay connected with each other even when we are separated and to learn about the people who are The River Church Franklin Park.

The podcast features interviews with people who attend The River Church. They talk about their past, present and hopes for the future and also share their faith story and how they came to know Jesus Christ. It is our hope that this podcast encourages and strengthens your faith journey or even helps you begin one.

Today's episode features an interview with Katy Ursta. Katy attends The River with her husband Mike and their two kids Nick and Dom and lives in Franklin Park, Pa. Katy shares about her life, faith journey, overcoming cancer and about her new book, The Back Pocket Prayer Journal. Exciting stuff!
