Awesome & Inspiring
I'm not an avid D&D player. But I do love story telling.
I played a few games with a group of friends over the course of a year. Over time I began developing my own story in the back of my head. As I began trying to evolve my idea I started listening to D&D podcasts for fun. "D&D is for Nerds", "Sneak Attack", and "Godsfall" to mention my favorites.
But it wasn't until I ventured away from that and began listening to the "DM's Block" that I realized how awesome running my own game could be, and all the things I had been doing wrong in my own game.
Since then I've put together my own group of players, built my own world, and written my own story that my players (who are totally new to D&D) are loving so far.
These guys are to thank for that! They are funny, inspiring, educational and passionate about D&D and it shows in every episode. With a baited breath I wait for every new episode in anticipation of what I might learn next. If you give these guys a try Ican guarantee that you won't be dissapointed, actually more likely you'll become addicted.
And if you're really new to the game or the title as DM, as I first was, start at episode "Ep 44 DMing for Dummies" and go from there!
Also, DC is awesome! It's Warner Bros that sucks. Read "Batman - Hush".
Thanks for this epic podcast guys. Keep doing what you're doing and keep being the best in the biz!
