E56: Scary Ghost Stories. Since this episode is published on Christmas Eve, I decided to share a little bit more about the history of scary ghost stories at this time of the year. I will also read you a classic ghost story that was first published December 1908. The story is The Kit-Bag by Algeronon Blackwood. Blackwood was a prolific horror writer in his day and this is a classic scary tale that he wrote for telling on a winter’s night. At the time of this reading, the story is in Public Domain. Please forgive any fumbling that I do as I am not a professional reader or story teller. The copy that I have of the story also has typos that I have to try to understand.
