Sentence connectors link two sentences together and make your conversation more natural and dynamic. Many of you probably know the word "and", "but" and "because" in Thai. แต่ dtàae (but), แต่อย่างไรก็ตาม (dtàe yàang-rai gôr-dtaam)
และ láe (and)
เพราะ próh (because)
ดังนั้น dang-nán, เพราะฉะนั้น próh-chà-nán (formal "so"), เลย loey (casual "so")
แม้ว่า máe-wâa (eventhough), แต่ก็ยัง dtàe-gôr-yang......อยู่ yùu (but still)
ไม่งั้น mái-ngán (otherwise)
ถ้า tâa (if)
ทั้งๆที่ táng-táng-tîi (despite)
