This week, we are joined by two activists engaged in the fight for land justice in South Philadelphia. Urban Forager Lady Danni and Anisa George (Save the Meadows) provide a look into the ongoing legal challenge to the $250 million remodeling of the park. Announced in 2019, the FDR Park Plan looks to destroy the habitats surrounding the park's former golf course in order to construct artificial turf playing fields rife with chemicals.
